Rachael & Robin’s Beautiful Wedding Day
The couple were married at the stunning and lovingly restored Admiral’s House, a rarely seen piece of history and one of the oldest buildings reminiscent of an elegant townhouse in the stunning surroundings including views of the River Thames and Greenwich Park.
A day full of tradition, love and oodles of colour The Admiral’s House was the perfect setting for Rachael and Robin’s wedding, it is romantic and intimate wedding venue filled with charm and warmth just like our couple.
Rachael was very keen to have a bouquet like the one that her wonderful Mum had on her Wedding Day and so using one of her parents wedding photographs and a couple of images that Rachael had found of similar styles we set to work designing Rachael Bouquet for her and we are happy to say she loved it!
Using a mix of traditional Chrysanthemums, Tom Pearce Blooms, Hypericum Berries, Wax Flowers, Roses, Freesias with cascading ferns with a contemporary feel in the mini Gerberas, the trailing ferns were almost to the floor.
The Bridesmaids carried Posy’s of large Blooms, Chrysanthemums and trailing ferns and for the buttonholes we used a simple but elegant mix of Hypericum Berries & Wax Flower.
As the Guests arrived and entered the Admirals House they were greeted by a large stunning arrangement sitting on a antique table made from all the beautiful mix of flowers but for extra height & wow we added Hydrangeas & Gladioli we added some Church Candles & Pumpkins around the base of the arrangement which you could see peeping out of the hanging Amerylis & ferns.
The Guests then made their way upstairs using the beautiful period wooden staircase up to the main dining room which we had dressed the staircase with twinkly fairy lights & bunches of Wax Flower & trailing ribbons, we also dressed the windows on the way up the stairs with fern & pumpkins.
For the Guest tables in the Wedding Breakfast room we dressed each table with tall Martini Vases on which we sat arrangements of flowers & trailing ferns, around the base of each one was a mix of Crystal Vases filled with flowers, Church Candles & Pumpkins.
The colours, flowers & styles that Rachael had chosen were just perfect for the wedding venue.
